Much has been the written production from the idea of Inca Garcilaso de la Vega on the conception of Cuzco as “otra Roma” in Los comentarios reales de los Incas. Taking into account this aspect, the author of the article addresses a particular regard that emerges from the statement of the Inca himself in the Proemio de los Comentarios, in this case the bridges and roads, in order to propose more answers about the relations of civilization, western historiography and validation of a maternal and paternal lineage that such physical and rhetorical architecture suggests.
